Carolyn Lamiell, CDC Program Director
I have been at Southern Hills for 15 years. The first 11 years as a classroom teacher, 4 years as assistant director and am currently the new director. It has been a wonderful place to work. I’ve enjoyed teaching the children and watching them grow. Our staff is terrific to work with and dedicated to the children. My husband Tim and I have 3 children. Our son Joe is a senior at OU. Our daughter Katie is a sophomore at UCO. Maggie is a senior at Edmond Memorial. All 3 are graduates of Southern Hills! In my free time I enjoy gardening, reading, and work!

Ellen Wilson CDC Asst. Director
I joined the teaching staff of CDC in January, l997. It is the most rewarding job that I could ever have. I love being with the children and the staff is great! I became the assistant director in June, 2007. I was born in Shelbyville, Kentucky. I graduated from Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY with a major in home economics. I was in banking for 12 years. My family moved to Oklahoma in 2000 due to my husband’s job. He is the executive director of Oklahoma Farm Bureau. We have two sons, Wes and Ryan. Wes is a youth minister at Willowcreek Church in Chicago. Ryan is a student at UCO. I enjoy reading, cooking, Bible studies and getting together with friends. I travel back to Kentucky several times a year to see my mother and other family members. I believe Southern Hills Child Development Center is a wonderful place for children to grow and learn. I am so happy to be a part of it!
