Hello!

My name is Jennifer Rankin and I am the Contemporary Worship Leader at Southern Hills Christian Church. I was brought on board almost 5 years ago to lead the praise band and help plan Southern Hills NEW Contemporary Worship Service. It is so exciting to look out into the congregation and see Southern Hills getting excited about their God!

I moved to Edmond in 1994, and became very active in church and in youth group. This is were I met my husband Robert. (Playing in the praise band at church!) Robert and I both enjoy using our time and talents to praise God through music. We find ourselves very fortunate to be able to do this on a weekly basis with such an amazingly talented group of musicians from our very own congregation. I have two boys (Colby and Braden) who keep me VERY busy..... however, I would not have it any other way!

When not up at the church playing with the praise band, you can find me down the hall teaching music for the Southern Hills Child Development Center. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, taking pictures, singing with my boys, and trying to be crafty! I am currently working on my masters degree in counseling psychology at Southern Nazarene University. Southern Hills has been such a wonderful blessing to my family. It is so wonderful to be able to be a part of a community that is so loving and supportive.
